Our Little 2 Year Old!

My mom & dad gave Rubi this miniature baby grande and she plays like Mozart (or like I imagine Mozart did when he was 2!) She bangs away at this little piano, stops for her applause, and then bangs out another tune. She's so funny sometimes!
"I cool!" Rubi will tell you that when she's wearing her shades and her ball cap. She likes to wear her hat when daddy is home. Bathtime is one of Rubi's favorite things. Once she's in the tub she never wants to get out. She's usually a little prune by the time she's done. I don't know how she can stand to sit in that water after it gets cold - I usually have to take her out against her will and we get the bathroom soaked.

Preparing for the new baby!

Rubi loves to play with HER babies but I'm worried how she's going to react to Mommy and Daddy's new baby when he/she gets here. I'm predicting that there will be a fair amount of jealousy on her part - she's a real momma's girl! Whenever we ask her if she wants a new brother or sister she promptly replies, "No!"

I'm also predicting, though, that given a little time with the new baby (who is due in November) she will be a wonderful big Sis.

Like No Bunny I've Ever Seen

Well, we're 0-3 with the big fuzzies. Rubi hated Santa Claus and Baby Jay, and now we can add the Easter Bunny to the list. Not a fan.

Sorry We Were Gone So Long!

Sorry that I haven't put anything new on the website in awhile but we've had a busy life lately. Now that we have internet at home again I should be able to post new pictures more often.

This is out little KU cheerleader at Halloween. Once she got that sucker it was all over. She didn't care if she got another peice of candy all night!

Rubi got this chair from Santa and she really likes to kick back and watch her 'toons. She is a Noggin addict!

When I have a bad headache I like to wear this mask over my eyes. Rubi found it the other night and wanted to wear it. She wore it for probably 10 minutes or more. It was really funny!
