She Didn't Break

Uncle Mike finally gave in a held Rubi, and, surprise, surprise, she didn't break.

Well, as you can tell, Rubi's first experience with the cereal went over like a lead balloon. By the time I gave up she was holding her lips together like a clamp - there was NO way I was getting that spoon in her mouth. Little stinker! 

Rubi's Trusty Steed

Every princess needs a trusty steed to transport her around. Of course Oscar is "volunteering" for the job. Here he is in training. He's saddled up and ready for his Lone Ranger. Eat your heart out Silver.

Precious and Pretty

Yet again she has taken my breath away. I can't believe she's mine - she's so beautiful. Look at that precious little face.

Rubi seems to be teething. She chews on her pacifier now rather than suck on it. And she loves to have her "teeth brushed". I think we will start her on cereal sometime this weekend. Keep a look out for pictures of this monumental event - they should be hilarious. 

Cute None The Less

This may not be Rubi but she's cute none the less. She's got a fiery personality to match the hair too! We love you, Gib!

Oscar Attacks!

Oscar attacked Rubi in her sleep Tuesday afternoon at aproximately 3 pm. This viscous attack by this crazed feline makes me wonder how the little girl made it through. It's times like this you thank The Man above something like this never happens to you. Warning these photos are graphic
