We Eat Gators For Breakfast

Saturday night the Jayhawks played #1 ranked Florida Gators. Rubi was by far the cutest cheerleader in the house! She wasn't able to stay awake to watch the Hawks pull in a victory but Daddy told her all about it in the morning.

Basketball Season Returns

Rubi was pretty serious about watching the Suns and Lakers the other night. She was kicked back in her bouncy seat and was content to watch her team, whoever that may be, play for a victory. John and I were cracking up! She's so freaking cute sometimes I can't hardly stand it!! :)

A Rubi Update

Hello all! Sorry it's been awhile since the last post but life has been a bit busy around here.

Rubi had her 4 month checkup the other day. My precious little baby is now just shy of 17 lbs and is 26 inches long! She's consistently in the 90th % for her height which has daddy jumping for joy. He's just positive that she's the next up and coming WNBA star. You never know!

We had to wait a week for her vaccinations because when she was getting checked out by the doc he discovered that she had an ear infection in both ears! Poor baby never even let on. I mean in retrospect I guess she was a little fussier than normal but I didn't think anything of it. I felt like a bad mom! The doc also ran a test to make sure she's free and clear of a urinary tract infection and the news was good. We still have to keep her on anitbiotics (the dr calls it a prophylactic dose). As of right now we have not been given an answer as to why she's been sick with UTI's. Maybe it was a freak incidence. ????

Rubi wasn't too thrilled with her halloween costumes. She sure looked cute though! Daddy was hoping to bank on the candy this year but nobody wanted to give any candy to an 80's rock star with a baby! Ha ha
