Rubi doesn't quite grab the concept of soccer yet. Use your feet, head anything but your hands. And if you ever score a goal, don't be Brandi Chastain. Daddy orders you to keep your clothes on.

No Pictures, Please

Rubi was getting a little fed up with this "photo shoot" and kept trying to grab the camera from me. She's definitely getting a mind of her own. She's rolling over from front to back and back to front so crawling is going to be just around the corner. Watch out world - here she comes!

Here Comes Santa Clause

Rubi got to meet the big guy this past Friday at Papa's company Christmas party. She wasn't scared a bit, but she was very interested in removing his beard. She must have looked a little older than she is because after the pictures were taken he tried to sit her down so she could walk away. We were all yelling, "No, she can't walk. She's only 6 mos old." Hopefully he brings her age appropriate gifts! :)

Papa must have the touch, or is it Rubi that has the touch? Or maybe it's the fact that they both feel like 4 am is a perfect time to begin the day. No matter... a nap was in order and they both took advantage of the situation.
