Picture Perfect

In this picture Rubi was putting on a show for Grandmas Barbara, Aunt Nila and Aunt Linda. She knows she looks adorable in this hat so she hams it up!

She has started posing for the camera when she sees it. She'll stop whatever she's doing and smile that beautiful little smile and I fall in love with her all over again.



Lately her personality has been becoming more apparent. My, oh my, she's a firecracker! She's got a temper like no other and when she doesn't get her way you better run for cover! Sometimes though she'll try to get her way by puckering up her bottom lip and just letting loose. Her daddy falls for it almost every time. Personally, I think she knows this and is playing him like a fiddle!

Rubi's very first tooth finally came through about 2 weeks ago. I thought she'd be toothless forever! She'll get little bits of food and chew with that tooth. It's really funny to see.

"Hoppy" Holiday!

Easter Cutie!!!!

The Easter Bunny left Rubi a basket last night. Her favorite thing was the puff snacks (surprise, surprise)!

There was an Easter Egg Hunt in the lobby after church. One egg was enough for Rubi, she played with it for ages while all the other kids ran around getting the rest of the eggs, but her cousin Gibby thought she needed some more so I think she ended up with about 5. It was really cute.

After church we had lunch over at Aunt Jojo and Uncle Bake's house. Rubi was right in the middle of Trip's basket - she liked everything he got! Luckily he loves his baby cousin and wasn't too concerned.
