Happy Birthday Big One Year Old!

I loved you before I'd ever even met you. It was so awesome to feel you move while I was pregnant with you. You were quite the gymnast! There were days when I was totally overcome by the wonder of it all. But nothing could have prepared me for the rush of emotion I felt when I first saw your perfect little face. For nine months I had dreamed of you, prayed for you. Holding you in my arms I realized you were more than I had expected, and right then and there I vowed I would do whatever it took to be the mommy you deserved. That was one year ago today and I pray everyday that I'm doing a good job.

Rubi you have been the joy of all joys in my life since the day you were born. I can't even remember what life was like before you came along and I don't really care to. Everyday you give me a new reason to love you (like I need a reason!). I'm so blessed to be your mommy! I can't wait until you get to help me plan your birthday party - but don't let it come as fast as this one did!
